Our Purpose
The purpose of a corrections committee is to coordinate the work of individual A.A. members and groups who are interested in carrying our message of recovery to incarcerated alcoholics.

- Ensure the availability of information about the A.A. message of recovery to members behind the walls.
- Encourage members of the Area 46 A.A. community to initiate and participate in A.A. meetings behind the walls.
- Encourage members of the Area 46 A.A. community to take part in the Correctins Correspondence Service.
- Urge A.A. members interested in carrying the A.A. message of recovery to read GSO's "A.A. Guidelines on Corrections Committees."
- Cooperate with the Area 46 Bridge the Gap Committee as it pertains to correctional facilities.
